Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy sets out the rules for storing and accessing information on the User’s devices by means of Cookies, used for the provision of electronic services requested by the User, by GFL Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością Sp. k., with its registered office in Zdunowo.
§1 Definitions
- Administrator – means GFL Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością Sp. k., with its registered office in Zdunowo, 09-142 Zdunowo 48, which provides electronic services and stores and accesses information on the User’s devices.
- Cookies – means IT data, in particular small text files, stored and saved on devices through which the User accesses the Service website.
- Administrator’s Cookies – means Cookies placed by the Administrator, related to the provision of electronic services by the Administrator through the Service.
- Third-Party Cookies – means Cookies placed by the Administrator’s partners through the Service website.
- Service – means the website through which the Administrator operates the online service under the domain (domain name).
- Device – means an electronic device through which the User accesses the Service website.
- User – means an entity for whom electronic services may be provided in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and applicable law, or with whom an agreement for the provision of electronic services may be concluded.
§2 Types of Cookies Used
- The Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the User’s Device. In particular, it is not possible for viruses or other unwanted or malicious software to enter Users’ Devices through this method. These files make it possible to identify the software used by the User and customize the Service individually for each User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain they come from, the storage time on the Device, and an assigned value.
- The Administrator uses two types of Cookies:
- Session Cookies – stored on the User’s Device and remain there until the browser session ends. The stored information is then permanently deleted from the Device memory. Session Cookies do not allow any personal data or confidential information to be retrieved from the User’s Device.
- Persistent Cookies – stored on the User’s Device and remain there until deleted. Ending the browser session or turning off the Device does not remove them. Persistent Cookies do not allow any personal data or confidential information to be retrieved from the User’s Device.
- The User may restrict or disable access of Cookies to their Device. If this option is used, the Service may still be used, except for features that by their nature require Cookies.
§3 Purposes of Using Cookies
- The Administrator uses its own Cookies for the proper configuration of the Service, in particular to:
- adapt the content of the Service website to the User’s preferences,
- optimize the use of the Service website.
- The Administrator also uses its own Cookies for processes necessary for the full functionality of the website, in particular to adapt website content to the User’s preferences and optimize the use of the Service. In particular, these files allow recognition of the User’s basic Device parameters and enable the website to be displayed properly, adjusted to the User’s individual needs.
- The Administrator uses Third-Party Cookies to collect general and anonymous statistical data through analytical tools such as Google Analytics (third-party cookie administrator: Google Inc., USA).
- The Administrator also uses Third-Party Cookies to present advertisements tailored to the User’s preferences through Google AdSense (third-party cookie administrator: Google Inc., USA).
§4 Managing Cookie Settings
The User may independently change Cookie settings at any time, specifying the conditions for storing and accessing Cookies on their Device. The User may make such changes using browser settings or service configuration tools. These settings may be changed in particular to block automatic handling of Cookies in browser settings or to notify the User each time Cookies are placed on their Device.
